Newsletter
We will be publishing our first newsletter this month. It will be filled
with news and events, stories about working canines. The newsletter
will be available at vet clinics, pet stores in the Capitola area, also
at C-DOG events and distributed to C-DOG members. Want a copy? Let us
know.
Think
about it.
How has dog ownership changed in the last 30 years?
Do we take better care of dogs now?
Do we pick up more than we used to?
Do we train them to be more responsive?
Do we feed them better quality food with less residue?
Capitola ordinances changed 30 years ago to ban dogs from the beach
and parks because "they were running wild in packs".
The City Council and the community want to know if things have changed.

Many thanks
to Brett Graessle, Nancy Green, Lloyd Logan and Sandi Pensinger, the
pro dog volunteers, who are spending their hours working on the Capitola
City Dog Task Force when they might be at home with their families or
playing with their dogs. We also thank the many C-DOG volunteers who
have been diligently spreading the word, writing letters and making
a difference one dog at a time.
Thank you
for your membership, time, donations, encouragement,
letters and most of all for your love of dogs. Onward!
